Merry Christmas & a joyous New Year to you all.
I have been reflecting on this year that I have had. I feel like it hasn't been that eventful to me. But then again as I think of it, I have done a lot. Last year I took a whole year off of school because of personal reasons, and this year I was in school winter & fall semester. I am getting way excited, because I only have 8 classes left and some more hours on my Internship & I will have a Bachelor's in Recreation Management with clusters in humanities & photography.
A lot of people ask me what I am wanting to do for a job with my major. This major has been amazing for me. I love being in Recreation. It has totally gotten me outta my comfort zone, and gotten me outta my norm in my life. But, I would like to become an Activities Director or a Camp Director somewhere. Eventually I would like to open a Bed & Breakfast one day. For a few years at Byu-I was a business major. I totally disliked that because there were a lot of Economics & math classes. And i wasn't having any fun. I like to have fun and play and I love the outdoors. So I was talking with a friend from my ward and she was a recreation leadership major and that is what she had graduated in. I thankfully changed mine to Recreation Management and have loved the switch so much. I love that we get to go on field trips, and that we get to build things, and that we don't have to sit in a stuffy classroom all day. Because I swear i have ADHD or something when I am sitting for very long I get twitchy and i have to start standing and moving. LOL.
I am so excited for this next year as I finish up my degree. As to where I will go in the near future. I would like to end up maybe in Oregon. I love it there if I could find a job on the coast there, or I may move to Boise for a little while and be near some of my sisters that live there. The future has a lot in store for me and I am so stinkin' excited.
I am making goals for the new year.
My No. 1 goal is: to be a full tithe payer this next year. I unfortunately was not this year and I talked to my bishop about everything that has been going on with me and with all the credit cards I have to pay on, and the medical bills, and then just the gas that I had to buy to get myself around when the gas was so high.
My No. 2 goal is: to become more health concious. I have many medical problems that I don't take into account in my life. I eat things I shouldn't all the time, I am going to plan meals and stick to them, seriously this time. LOL.
My No. 3 goal is: to be nicer to everyone around me. I have a tendency to be kinda rude sometimes when something doesn't go my way. I love everyone and Just hope that I can be nicer and more outgoing this year.
My No. 4 goal is: Reading my scriptures. I really need to work on that one so that I can bring the gospel into my life more fully.
My No. 5 goal is: Make new friends. I have a few more semesters left and I hope that I can make friends in my classes.
May you all have a great Christmas & a Happy New Year

Just remember the Reason for the Season.
I am going nutso because of the past couple of days working at Winco doing food samples. People are so stinking rude I can't believe them. I just had to vent about how people are really really so stupid and rude. I worked at Winco today doing samples of Pumpkin Nut muffins. I had to leave my stand for a second and I had just barely opened a muffin. I was going to go and cut it into pieces and someone came a long and took the muffin. When I came back, there was the wrapper and no muffin. Ugh I was so mad. It wasn't really anything to be mad about because I am not the one that is losing money from it. But people are so give me, give me, give me. I was so totally nice to everyone that was coming for samples. But at one moment I ran outta napkins that I had cut into halves, and so I took a second to cut a bunch of napkin pieces, and people were just standing there staring at me like Give me a dang sample because I deserve it. People that I would say How are you doing today? or How are you? or Have a Merry Christmas would just look take a sample and walk away without saying a word. I dunno how some people can be so rude and so heartless. Thank you all the great customers I had. Some people were so gracious and were very nice and I was happy to have them there, because they totally made my day. I think that I am just tired of people being so rude around Christmas time, for the reason that people seem to be in such a rush that they have forgotten the reason for this time of year. I am grateful for Our Savior Jesus Christ and for the atonement that he made it possible for us to return to be with him and our Heavenly Father someday. I know that none of you would be like any of the horrible people that I had today. Thank you all for being nice to the sample people in any store. They are just doing their job. I am always nice to people in general but now that I am working on Samples during the weekends I know what they have to go through and I will always be nice to them.

Weekend Visit to Boise/Kyra's Blessing
Jessica & Gaberial having a contest to see who can get the highest score on Guitar Hero.
We visited my Sister's in Boise, Sadly it was because my Sister Sherry & Paul are moving to Virginia in January so we had to see her and her family before she leaves. But it was great to see her and her family. Also to see Lavonne & Jayden & to see Chrystle, Jarrod, Jessica, Coltin, & Cody.
Hopefully I can start saving and can go visit them next summer in Virginia. I have never been to the East Coast.

YAY. I had my last final yesterday.
I had my finals this week. Yay it is so good to have these classes done and outta the way. I liked my classes I had Humanities 101 and Accessible Recreation. It feels so good to be finally free of them though. Hooray... three weeks of freedom I am so stinkin excited. Even though the more exciting thing is that I have only 8 classes left and then I have a Bachelor's in Recreation Management.
