Thankfulness, why can't we relay what we are thankful for

I was just reading through a friends blog and then I was reading the comments to her blog posting. It just made me sad because of everything that our friends were posting. They were irritated or irrate about something. Instead of ranting on about that, I want to be thankful. Today is my grandmother's birthday. She is 85 years old today. What a great woman she is. What a lot she has gone through and she is still a strong woman. Whenever I need to talk something through I can go to her house just accross the street from my home and go over and see her anytime I want to. I love my family. I have five sisters and then two girls Shorty & Melody I consider her my sisters. All of my sister's have been there for me and have been a great part of my life. They all are there for me whenever I need them. I can't say how much they mean to me in words. I love my mom & dad, even though I get irritated with them at a lot of times. Like especially when they are on my case about things that I think are stupid. My grandpa's aren't with us anymore but I miss them greatly. They hold such a dear place in my heart both of them. Because With grandpa Clements he always when he had a chance bore his testimony. I always knew how he felt about Heavenly Father & Jesus. Because we'd have testimony meetings whenever we had a Reunion together. It was amazing. I am greatful for my grandpa Morgan, because he gave me whatever I wanted. It was darling. I would say I would like this, and he would say ok, and he would give it to me. I remember that both grandpa's would sing at times.
I hope that all of you if you have a blog and are reading this, i am just challanging you to make a blog of things that you are greatful for.
This is trying times in the world. And there doesn't need to be tenseness between people, friends. I love my Savior, and though I am not perfect, I know that through his atonement that though we make mistakes through his atonement we can repent and we can return to our Heavenly Father once again. I love everyone, I try to be a peacemaker. I get contentious at times and I am sorry for those that see me get rowled up. Some people are terribly mad that Obama is in that I have spoken to. Let's pray for him, that he will lead us in the way that we want to. He's in and I am sure that he will do his best. I don't think that Being contentious about who are president is, is going to make any difference. I will love him, and love everyone. Because we are all brother's and sister's. Just be an example unto others, and if we can do that, then we will all be loved.
